Top up a balance once, mint redeemable Siterifty gift cards through one API call, and resell them on your own site for whatever price you want. Here's exactly how it works and how developers make money from it.
You add funds to a prepaid balance through Siterifty — a normal PayPal payment, credited to your account. That balance is only ever spendable one way: minting gift cards through the API using your own key. There's no separate markup or platform fee added at mint time — minting a $25 card deducts exactly $25 from your balance, every time.
What you charge a customer for that card on your own storefront is entirely up to you. Minting is a single authenticated API call that returns a redeemable code instantly — no manual approval, no waiting on a payment processor mid-sale.
The card is worth exactly its face value when redeemed inside Siterifty — never more, never less, and never withdrawable as cash by whoever holds it. Your margin is the difference between what it cost you to mint (face value) and what you sell it for. Mint a $25 card for $25 off your balance, sell it on your own site for $30, and the $5 spread is yours. There's no cap on that markup, and no revenue share back to Siterifty on the resale itself.
A Siterifty gift card is closed-loop: it can only ever be redeemed inside Siterifty, on things like Boost or marketplace listings — never cashed out, transferred as raw balance, or spent anywhere else. That's a deliberate design choice, not a limitation to work around: it's what makes the card a safe, fraud-resistant thing to resell in the first place.
You don't need to build a checkout page from scratch. The developer dashboard includes a downloadable storefront template (HTML) and a backend proxy template (JS) that calls the mint API using your key server-side, where it belongs. Both are free to use and customize — set your own prices, your own branding, your own domain.
The templates intentionally leave payment collection as a clearly marked step for you to fill in with whatever processor you already use (Stripe, PayPal, or anything else) — see the full setup walkthrough on the dashboard once you're signed in.
Sign in and open the Gift Card Mint API dashboard to top up a balance, generate a key, and download the storefront templates. Questions first? Read Is Siterifty legit or reach out directly.
